General terms
By using this website, or by sending a message to Sigma Industrial Control or Sigma Elech Control, you agree to these terms. They cover the pages on this site: products (APFC, demand controllers, and meters), Sigma Cloud, contact and support enquiries, and links to the shop.
The 3 April 2024 terms were written as if using the site meant placing an order and downloading software. They also said they were created with Termify.io. That generator line is dropped. An enquiry on this website is not an order. An order exists only when Sigma confirms it, or when you complete checkout on the shop.
As in the published terms, Sigma is not liable for direct, indirect, special, incidental, or consequential damages from use of the materials on this site, including loss of data or profit, even if Sigma was told that such damages were possible. If use of material from this site leads you to service or repair equipment or data, you pay that cost. Sigma does not promise a particular outcome from using the pages. Prices can change until an order is confirmed.
What this site is
- Product information for APFC, demand controllers, and meters.
- A contact form. “Buy a product” is a quote request. “Get service” is a service enquiry.
- A support form that stores a service request and shows you a reference number. It does not upload a photo; a photo can be added later.
- Sigma Cloud, the IoT platform. The app link used by this theme is https://cloud.sigmaic.com.
- The components shop. When shop.sigmaic.com is configured, that address is the Zoho Commerce shop. This website does not claim a checkout of its own. Until you are on that shop and it accepts payment, nothing here has been bought.
License
Sigma grants you a revocable, non-exclusive, non-transferable, limited licence to use this website in line with these terms. The older wording also said you may “download and install the website”. There is nothing to install. You may not copy the site, sell it, or reverse engineer it, and you may not remove Sigma’s notices.
These terms are between you and Sigma Industrial Control and Sigma Elech Control. “You” means you and any organisation you represent. If you do not agree, do not use the site. Sigma may block access if you break these terms.

- Service: the information, forms, and Sigma Cloud link on this site. Not a paid “premium plan”.
- Shop: the Zoho Commerce components shop at shop.sigmaic.com when that domain is configured. It is separate from this website.
Restrictions
You agree not to, and not to let others:
- License, sell, rent, host, or otherwise commercially exploit this website, or make it available as your own platform.
- Modify, disassemble, or reverse engineer any part of the website.
- Remove proprietary notices of Sigma or its suppliers.
Payment
The April 2024 terms described recurring premium plans and told you to store a Visa or Mastercard with Sigma. This website has no premium plan and does not take a card. Do not send card numbers in a form.
A product enquiry is not a contract. No contract for goods exists until Sigma accepts it by email, phone, or another clear confirmation, which is the rule the April 2024 terms already stated. Prices and billing can change until that confirmation. You pay any third-party fees your own bank or network charges.
If you buy stocked components, you do that on the shop once shop.sigmaic.com is configured. Payment is then between you and that shop’s checkout. This staging site is not that checkout.
Return and refund
The April 2024 terms said that if you are not satisfied you should contact Sigma and we will discuss the issue. That is still the rule for a quote or a product enquiry on this website: write or call, and we will talk it through. Nothing has been sold until an order is confirmed.
The live site also has a Refund & Shipping page. It says items may be returned within 14 days if they are unused, undamaged, and in the original packaging, that the customer pays return shipping, and that estimated delivery after dispatch is 4–7 business days in India and 7–20 business days internationally. It also mentions PayPal, Stripe, and duties for deliveries outside the USA. Those payment and USA lines are not repeated here, because they do not describe this website. Shop orders follow the shop you actually pay on.
Suggestions
Feedback you send about the website may be used by Sigma without payment or credit. The April 2024 terms said the same about suggestions and about ideas you submit.
Your consent
Using this website or sending a form means you accept these terms and the privacy policy. The older page said the same about registering an account or making a purchase. This site has no account signup and no purchase button.
Links to other websites
These terms apply to this website. Links, including www.sigmaic.com, shop.sigmaic.com, and Sigma Cloud, are other sites. Their own terms apply once you leave. We do not control those pages.
Cookies
We use cookies as described in the privacy policy. You can block them in your browser. We do not put your name or phone number in cookies.
Changes, modifications, and updates
Sigma may change, pause, or stop this website, or any feature of it, without notice and without liability, as the April 2024 terms allowed. You may stop using it at any time. If these terms change, the new copy is posted on this page. For a material change, the April 2024 terms promised at least 30 days’ notice before the new terms take effect. What counts as material is Sigma’s decision, as those terms said. If you keep using the site after the change, you accept the new terms. If you do not agree, stop using the site.
Sigma may improve the site and has no duty to keep any particular feature. Updates are part of the site and are covered by these terms.
Third-party services
Shop checkout (Zoho Commerce, when configured) and Sigma Cloud are separate services. Sigma is not responsible for a third-party service’s content, legality, or availability. You use those links at your own risk and under their terms. The April 2024 terms said the same about third-party services generally.
Term and termination
These terms last until you stop using the site or Sigma ends them. Sigma may suspend them at any time. If you break them, they end. The older text told you to delete the website from your computer. There is no software copy to delete. Stopping use is enough. Ending these terms does not remove Sigma’s rights if you already broke them.
Copyright notice
If you believe material on this site infringes a copyright you own, email sales@sigmaic.com with your signature, what is infringing, your contact details, a statement that you believe the use is not authorised, and a statement that your notice is accurate and that you are authorised to act for the owner.
Indemnification
You agree to indemnify Sigma and its officers, employees, and partners against a claim, including reasonable legal fees, arising out of your use of the website, your breach of these terms or of the law, or your violation of someone else’s rights. That is the April 2024 indemnity, restated for this site.
No warranties
The website is provided “as is” and “as available”. To the extent the law allows, Sigma disclaims warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, title, and non-infringement, and does not warrant that the site will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful code. Product pages are information, not a promise that a configuration will suit your plant. Some jurisdictions do not allow these exclusions, so parts of this section may not apply to you.
Limitation of liability
The April 2024 terms limited Sigma’s entire liability, and your exclusive remedy, to the amount you actually paid for the website. This website is not sold, so that amount is zero unless you have a separate paid order. To the extent the law allows, Sigma is not liable for special, incidental, indirect, or consequential damages, including lost profits, lost data, or business interruption, even if Sigma was told they were possible. Some places do not allow that limit.
The April 2024 terms also said a claim about the services must start within one year after it arises, or it is barred. That one-year limit is kept.
Severability, waiver, and the whole agreement
If a court holds one part unenforceable, the rest stays in force, and that part is read as far as it can be. These terms plus the privacy policy are the whole agreement about this website and replace earlier understandings about that subject. A failure to enforce a term is not a waiver. You cannot change these terms on your own. Section headings are only labels. If a later written order from Sigma conflicts with these terms, that order applies to the goods it covers, and these terms still apply to the website.
Intellectual property
The site and its contents are owned by Sigma Industrial Control, its licensors, or other providers, and are protected by the intellectual-property laws of India and by applicable international rules. You may not copy or distribute them except as these terms allow.
Disputes
The April 2024 terms require a written notice of dispute before anything else, sent by you to sales@sigmaic.com, and by Sigma to your address or email if we have it. The notice states the name, address, contact details, facts, and the relief asked for. Both sides then have 60 days to try to settle it informally.
If it is not settled, those published terms say the dispute goes to binding arbitration under the commercial arbitration rules of the American Arbitration Association, and that you give up a court or class action, except either side may ask a court for interim relief to protect rights or property. They also say the prevailing party’s legal and accounting costs are paid by the other side. Claims for an injunction about intellectual property are outside that arbitration clause. These sentences restate that published clause. They are not a new dispute system.
Sigma operates from its offices in India. If you use the site from somewhere else, you are responsible for following local law. The laws of India govern these terms, as the privacy policy says.
Promotions and pricing errors
If Sigma runs a promotion, its own rules apply, including any age or place limits. The April 2024 terms said Sigma may refuse or cancel an order placed at a wrong price because of a typographical error, including after a card has been charged, and will then reverse that charge. That still applies to a real shop order. It does not apply to an enquiry on this website, because this website does not charge a card.

Sigma does not warrant third-party content linked from the site. Price and availability can change without notice. The site may be interrupted. No oral or written remark from Sigma creates a warranty beyond a confirmed order.
