THE CAPACITOR CHECK METER, SDP - 257

The Capacitor check meter is used to measure the KVAR/ micro farad (as per customer requirement) of a Capacitor. There are  two terminals to connect the capacitor  under measurement. One push button is  provided used as dual purpose i.e. when not pressed it creates short circuit across the connected capacitor and when pressed short circuit across the capacitor opens and the meter measures and display the value of the capacitor under test. The displayed value may be in KVAR/ micro farad as per requirement. The meter is powered through the mains for which the main lead is provided. This meter is suitable for the shunt capacitors in ‘off-line’ mode up to 60.00KVAR/600 micro farad. This Capacitance checking meter is portable and can be used on field/wherever desired so it serves as an essential part of any Industry.

​NOTE: To use this meter first connect the meter to the mains and then take the capacitor under test offline and discharge before connecting to the terminals of this meter and then press the button and meter will start showing the measured values until the button is pressed.
